The Copper Roller Mouth Racing Dee Bit has rollers which help to prevent the horse running away with their rider, but due to the uneven surface on the mouthpiece it can be quite sharp on the mouth
The Dee rings reduce the chance of pinching and help with steering. The single joint makes the copper roller Dee bit more sever than a french link because of the nutcracker action.
Stainless steel bits are safe and easy to clean, whilst the copper makes the mouthpiece softer, but encourages salivation and mouthing. Many horses like the taste.
