Equine America CUSHINS Pellets, which was previously known as Cushins Crumbles, is a Chaste Berry (vitex agnus-castus) based product that provides support for horses and ponies with Cushing's disease.
Many ponies and older horses are susceptible to natural variations of the pituitary gland, which is responsible for the production of hormones affecting blood balance, muscle and nerve condition and the immune system. When this variation relates to over activity of the pituitary gland, it is commonly referred to as Cushings.
Equine America have developed a new natural feed supplement called Cushins to assist ponies and older horses in retaining or restoring the natural hormone level, enabling a more healthy life, particularly if the horse or pony is prone to Laminitis.

An average 500 kg Horse: Loading Period: Feed 30 grams for the first 14 consecutive days. Maintenance Level: Feed 15 grams daily. Feed others according to body weight, less for smaller horses and ponies, more for larger breeds.
