Equine America Vitamin C powder should be fed to horses in high levels of training or competition. There may be other times when Vitamin C is necessary as per veterinary direction.
Vitamin C is involved in the transfer of iron and is vital to the normal formation of collagen. Horses usually synthesis enough of their own vitamin C from green leafy forage but sometimes they need a little help.
Feed a 500kg horse 14g of Vitamin C powder daily.
