Net Tex Total Mite Kill Spray is an easy to use aerosol insecticide with a rapid knockdown formula specifically designed to kill common mites (red, delumping and northern mites). Once Net Tex Total Mite Kill Spray is applied to outbuildings, poultry houses, arks, coops etc. all migrating mites will be accounted for.
Net Tex Total Mite Kill Spray is a powerful insecticide, coupled with a long-lasting residual action that penetrates deep into the crevices where mites like to hide and it remains active for up to three months.
Total Mite kill Spray can also be used against fleas and other flying and crawling insects on hard, porous and non-porous surfaces.
How do you know if your chickens have Red Mite problems?
You will notice two things; firstly your egg production will start to go down as the chickens need to replace the lost blood taken by the Red Mites (which means less energy to produce eggs), and secondly the chickens will start to peck each other where they see the infestation - usually just at the base of the tail feathers.
At this point the problem is likely to be causing stress and is getting serious. Keep a close eye out for any pecking behaviour, and also any bald, bloody patches on your birds.
