Supastuds Mini Sharp studs measure 10mm. The Supastuds mini sharp studs are like road studs but with extra penetration (a running spike for horses). These studs are great on sun-baked ground and are often used in the front hooves with small conical studs behind.
SupaStuds are made from British steel that is subjected to a high tech hardening process which makes the whole stud, not just the tip, stronger and more hard-wearing than tungsten. This process gives the studs their blue/black appearance rendering them almost completely rust resistant.
SupaStuds are not self-tapping studs. They have been designed to clean the hole not to re-thread it.
