The Horse

The horse has a wide and varied history starting with its evolution from the small forest dwelling ‘fox–like’ creature, called the Dawn Horse, through to the horse we recognise and love today.
From these beginnings, a wide variety of horse breeds have arisen, ranging from the tiniest Falabella to the largest Shire horse. Despite the huge range, horses and ponies are the same around the World.
