Browbands

It's tempting to think that the browband on your bridle is simply there for a unique or decorative effect. After all, its the place to display diamonds, pearls, crystals, ribbons and rosettes to pretty up your pony or horse, and colour-coordinate your kit.
Browbands may be pretty, but they are also practical. The dressage browband keeps the bridle in place so that it doesn't slide down the horse's neck.
