Valerian is probably the most widely known of the calming herbs. Just like people, some horses in some situations become stressed and anxious that may be caused by genetic influences, previous unpleasant experiences or management.
Equus Health Valerian can be fed as a supplement to help support tense, nervous types or during stressful times such as moving yards or transporting. Please note Valerian is an FEI prohibited substance.
