TRM's GNF Paste is a complementary feed which is suitable for horses suffering from gastric disturbances, exhibiting as depressed appetite, weight loss, poor performance or cribbing.
GNF Paste contains:
- Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Hydroxide which can stabilise the gastric fluids
- Seaweed Extract (Laminaria Hyperborea) which can protect the non glandular portion of the stomach from acid splash
- Fructooligosaccharides which form a food substrate for the beneficial bacteria in the hind gut
- Glutamine which is an important amino acid for the repair of epithelial cells
- Threonine is an amino acid, restriction of which may limit intestinal mucin sythesis
- Slippery Elm, a complex mixture of polysaccharides rich in mucilage.
The composition of each 80g syringe of GNF Paste is as follows:
Calcium Carbonate 10,000mg Magnesium Hydroxide 5,000mg Laminaria spp 5,000mg Fructo-oligosaccharides 5,000mg Slippery Elm 4,00mg L- Threonine 2,350mg Glutamine 1,900mg
A maintenance feed to keep a healthy gut comprises 40g (half a syringe) morning and evening.
